What's the difference between Tornado Cleanze and Lightning Cleanze?

Benz Tornado Cleanze & Benz Lightning Cleanze - for cleaning window sills and capping stones colonised by algae
What is the difference between Benz Tornado Cleanze and Lightning Cleanze? Why choose one product over the other? It's crucially important for all soft wash contractors to know this.

What is Tornado Cleanze?

Tornado Cleanze is a thick gel used for removing particularly tough staining, mainly (though not exclusively) black and red. It comes into it's own when cleaning stone or concrete window sills and surrounds, stone or concrete capping stones, etc.

The gel allows Tornado Cleanze to "stick" to surfaces for longer, increasing it's effectiveness through prolonged contact. This quality is especially valuable when cleaning the vertical uprights of window surrounds, badly colonised render and garden walls.

It can be used to "spot clean" areas of severe residual staining if, after an initial treatment with our Lightning Cleanze biocide, results show this to be necessary.

It also has an exceptional ability to remove "black spot" (black lichen) staining from paths and patios.

What is Lightning Cleanze?

Lightning Cleanze is a biocide and is thinner, enabling it to be easily applied via a water fed pole (WFP). It is used for the first biocidal treatment of exterior hard surfaces, particularly wall render, when a faster result is needed than Bio Cleanze alone can offer.

Lightning Cleanze is used on any surface when the colonisation is too severe for it to be practicable to use Bio Cleanze as a first treatment. First use of Lightning Cleanze is particularly appropriate when a customer wants the fastest possible result.

Once a surface has been properly treated and the biofilm removed using Lightning Cleanze and, if necessary Tornado Cleanze, ongoing Bio Cleanze biocide treatments – using our "Clean & Maintain" softwash systems – are usually all that is required to keep a property permanently clean.

Benz "Clean & Maintain" softwash systems

Offering your customers a "Clean & Maintain" ongoing maintenance programme is a win-win service. It gives your customers a permanently clean property and you, the contractor, a source of regular repeat business.

Hi Ben what is the best product to get rid of black staining on man made slats? How long after treating does it usually take for the staining to disappear thanks Conor.

We've noticed erroneous assumptions being made about the legal uses of sodium hypochlorite for soft washing. A lot of misunderstanding, confusion and myths have arisen from these assumptions.
