How long can I store diluted Bio Cleanze (softwash biocide)?

Undiluted and unopened, the shelf life of Benz Bio Cleanze is at least 2 years.

If you know you are going to be left with some soft washing biocide, the best water to use for diluting is purified water (as used for window cleaning with water fed poles, aka de-ionised water).

This will not affect active ingredient in Bio Cleanze – DDAC (Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride).

Other than this, it's impossible to give a definite answer because the chemical make-up of water varies from area to area. Therefore we cannot know the mineral content of the water that any given contractor would use.

That said, we've stored 25 litres of Bio Cleanze diluted with tap water for a couple of weeks and it has worked fine.

On a hot day the speed of degradation may increase. And it's always best not to store chemicals in hot vans or sheds. Cold temperatures have not shown to have negative impact on the quality of the product thus making Winter storage a breeze.

Our best advice is simply to prepare the quantity of Benz Bio Cleanze you know you will use – which you will get better at judging with experience – and price in some wastage.
